In Montessori education, teaching about vertebrates aims to foster a child's understanding of the natural world, develop scientific thinking, and connect them to their environment through exploration and categorization of living organisms.

This set includes 8 types of amphibians: toad, tree frog, eastern newt, tiger salamander, spring salamander, caecilian, spadefoot toad, and greenhouse frog.

Cards with labels are approx. 3½" x 3¼", cards without labels are approx. 1" shorter. Cards have green borders.
