Africa Vertebrate Sorting

The purpose of the Africa vertebrate sorting lesson in a Montessori context is to help children identify, sort, and classify the five classes of vertebrates found on the continent of Africa, reinforcing their understanding of animal classification and categorization.

Identify, sort, and classify the vertebrates. Then, check the classification using the control chart. 

Includes:

• 5 category cards
• 15 picture cards (3 for each category)
• 1 control chart

The sorting cards are in a 3-part card format. The cards with labels are approx. 3½" x 3¼", the cards without labels are approx. 1" shorter, the labels are approx. 1".
