Learning to write before reading helps children connect the sounds of letters (phonemes) with their written forms (graphemes), making it easier for them to decode words and become proficient readers.

This set includes pictures and words that are phonetic and consist of 4+ letters. Print each sheet and laminate it. Use a dry-erase marker to write the words. When you finish the activity, simply wipe off the words with a cloth.
