Vertebrates and Invertebrates Charts & Cards - Blackline Masters

The goal of the vertebrate and invertebrate lessons in Montessori education is to help children categorize and classify animals into two groups: those with backbones (vertebrates) and those without (invertebrates). This process encourages them to organize information and develop scientific thinking skills.

  • 1 labeled chart (no pictures)
  • 1 blank chart
  • 22 clipart cards (used to build the chart on the table)
