Syllable Sorting Cards

The purpose of syllable lessons in a Montessori classroom is to help children develop phonemic awareness and reading skills by learning to break words down into smaller units (syllables), which is essential for decoding and spelling.

Identify how many syllables each object has and place it under the correct title cards. Use the control charts to verify the sorting.
