Sun Nomenclature - Cards

Montessori education includes astronomy, referred to as "cosmic education," to inspire a sense of wonder and curiosity about the universe. This approach encourages children to understand their place in the cosmos and to develop scientific thinking skills.

Sun Nomenclature Cards include the following terms: Sun, core, radiative zone, convection zone, photosphere, chromosphere, and corona. 

To use three-part cards, match the labels to the corresponding pictures. Verify the matches using the control cards with the labels.

Includes:

• 7 cards with labels
• 7 cards without labels
• 7 labels
• 1 blackline master

After the children have learned the individual parts, they can create their own booklet by coloring and labeling the blackline master.

Cards with labels are approx. 3¾" x 4", cards without labels are approx. 1" shorter, labels are approx. 1".
