Platypus Nomenclature - Cards (red)

The term 'nomenclature' originates from the Latin word nomenclatura, which means 'assigning names.' Nomenclature enriches vocabulary, develops language skills, and enhances the understanding of concepts.

The Platypus Nomenclature Cards are formatted in 3-part cards and include a blackline master. The 14 parts of the platypus: platypus, head, eyes, ear flaps, nostrils, bill, frontal shield, forelegs, hind legs, front webbed feet, hind feet, spur, back, and tail.

After the children have learned the individual parts, they can create their own booklet by coloring and labeling the blackline master.

Cards with labels are approx. 3¾" x 4", cards without labels are approx. 1" shorter.
