Geometry Cabinet Control Charts



The Montessori geometry cabinet and its accompanying cards serve to help children develop visual discrimination of shapes, refine their pincer grasp, enhance fine motor control, and establish a foundational understanding of geometry. This includes building vocabulary and preparing for future mathematical learning.

These labeled control charts will help children identify the shapes in the Montessori Geometry Cabinet.

This material includes labeled shapes for the 6 trays of the Montessori Geometry Cabinet. Shapes included: circle, curvilinear triangle, oval, ellipse, quatrefoil, square, rectangle, trapezoid (trapezium), rhombus, parallelogram, kite, chevron, quadrilateral, pentagon, hexagon, heptagon, octagon, nonagon, decagon, equilateral, acute-angled isosceles, right-angled isosceles, obtuse-angled isosceles, acute-angled scalene, right-angled scalene, and obtuse-angled scalene.
