Subtraction Strip Board, Charts & Instructions

The purpose of the Montessori Subtraction Strip Board is to help children learn and practice subtraction through a hands-on, concrete approach, visualizing sums and building a foundation for understanding subtraction combinations and memorizing subtraction facts.

The differences do not exceed 9 due to the board's limitations.

The strip board and strips can be printed on letter or legal-size paper. The strips can be printed in full color or printed with outlines on red, blue, and brown paper to save printer ink.

This material does not include the Math Booklets or Subtraction Equation Slips mentioned in the instructions; however, they are helpful for using this material.
