Bead Bar Addition - Complex

This bead bar addition work includes a total of 45 equations with the sums being 10 or more, but less than 21 (complex addition, requires changing).

This set includes:

• 5 pages (45 equations; 9 per page) in black and white
• 5 pages (45 equations; 9 per page) in color
• instructions

This work can be completed without using the bead bars during the lesson. However, it is more effective and offers a greater sensorial experience for the child if they can physically touch and manipulate the bead bars. If you are using the bead bars to demonstrate the equation then you will need 2 sets of the color bead stairs (1-9) and 2 golden bead bars as you will need to 'exchange' the unit beads for a ten.

The colored bead bars follow the traditional Montessori colors.

Pages print on letter-size paper (8½" x 11").
