Ant Nomenclature - Cards (red)

The term 'nomenclature' originates from the Latin word nomenclatura, which means 'assigning names.' Nomenclature enriches vocabulary, develops language skills, and enhances the understanding of concepts.

The Ant Nomenclature Cards are formatted in 3-part cards and include a blackline master. The 18 parts of an ant: ant, head, thorax, abdomen, antennae, compound eye, mandibles, clypeus, pronotum, mesonotum, propodeum, petiole, maxillary palps, forelegs, middle legs, and hind legs, gaster, and stinger.

Includes:

  • 18 cards with labels (print twice for 3-part cards)
  • 1 blackline master

After the children have learned the individual parts, they can create their own booklet by coloring and labeling the blackline master.
