Pineapple Plant Nomenclature - Cards

The term 'nomenclature' originates from the Latin word nomenclatura, which means 'assigning names.' Nomenclature enriches vocabulary, develops language skills, and enhances the understanding of concepts.

The Pineapple Plant Nomenclature Cards are formatted in 3-part cards and include a blackline master. The 9 parts of the pineapple plant: pineapple plant, fibrous roots, mother plant, ratoon, stem, hapa, slip, fruit, and crown.

Includes:

  • 9 cards with labels
  • 1 blackline master

These cards print 2 per sheet (8½" x 11"). Print twice to make 3-part cards.

After the children have learned the individual parts, they can create their own booklet by coloring and labeling the blackline master.

Cards with labels are approx. 6¾" x 4½"., cards without labels are approx. 1" shorter.
