In the Montessori approach, studying the animal kingdom is designed to enhance a child's understanding of the natural world and to cultivate an appreciation for diversity. This method also aims to develop empathy and respect for living creatures while providing a structured foundation for understanding the classification of different animals.

Identify, sort, and classify photographic cards for the Animal Kingdom: Porifera, Cnidaria, Platyhelminthes, Nematoda, Mollusca, Annelida, Arthropoda, Echinodermata, and Chordata. Check the classification using the control chart.
